I really found the best and most interesting way to learn about SEO is to read different blogs, including a few listed in this article. You can buy a great book, but it’s nice to have variety of author and up to date, varying content. Thanks for the list.

SEO Book, SEOMoz and Search Engine Land are my top 3 sites on Search engine optimisation that I read regularly.
I also really like Matt Cutts and his approach to writing about Google in a way that is so accessible.

Hi,
yes your points to promote a product through seo is really good but on my experience i can say one more method to visitors from which I got benefited, i.e video conferencing. This is also very much effective. Its used to deal with customers directly by not going to their places. That is we can promote our products through online chating in video conferencing.
