Interleado was started to try and bridge the gap that exists between websites owners and web designers.Too many times we’ve heard the same story. Business owner gets a great website from their website design company, six months later the business owner feels their website should be getting more traffic. They talk to the web design company who recommends a Google Adwords campaign and/or makes cosmetic optimisation changes to the website.
The business owner feels aggrieved at the lack of traffic, while the website design company just doesn’t have the resources to get involved in a full scale online marketing campaign. It’s not their business; its not what they are good at.
Interleado deisgned the SEO Workbench to enable web design companies and Internet Marketing agnecies to communicate more easily to website owners what SEO is and why it's important. Monthly website analysis reports highlight areas of a client website that can be improved. Changes are made either through a Content Management System or by the web designer/Internet Marketing professional and traffic improves. Naturally this takes time, but that’s the model and that’s why we do what we do – to make it easier for business owners to get more traffic and for web design companies and web marketing professionals to better manage their client’s online marketing.
Peter Cullen – Chief Executive Officer
Peter left Ericsson in the Summer of 2006 to setup Interleado.
He was with the Swedish company for nearly eight years and before that spent three years with Creative Labs. He worked in both hardware and software product development during his stints at these companies. Peter obtained a BSc from Dublin City University. He got interested in online marketing while researching ideas for a new business in 2004. He realised that he was far more interested in what made a website rank well than any business ideas he was playing around with.
Web marketing consultancy was the best way of getting into the business and he spent a couple of years in the trenches on web marketing campaigns, doing keyword research, competitor analysis and web page optimisation.
Conor MacGowan – Chief Financial Officer
Conor McGowan has 16 years experience in finance and business development, working firstly with Coopers & Lybrand and then moving on to a number of senior executive finance and general management roles in industry with companies such as Procter & Gamble, JP Morgan, PepsiCo and with Microsoft as Group Senior Executive for Commercial Services, Europe. Conor is a qualified financial advisor (QFA), and a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in Ireland.
